Common Eye Conditions

Presbyopia

Presbyopia is a condition characterized by the slow loss of vision clarity. It is a condition most commonly diagnosed during middle age (ages 35-45). As we age, the muscles of the eye gradually loose their elasticity, eventually leading to blurriness and lack of focus.

Presbyopia is most commonly treated with the use of bifocal lenses, though other treatments, such as presbyopia surgery, exist as well.
